Annual Fall Birdseed Sale

Dear Members and Friends,

Each year, for the past 35 years, PVAS has offered birdseed for sale.  The proceeds from this sale are used to support the educational programs of the Potomac Valley Audubon Society. Each year, we offer:

  1. the freshest possible seed (this year’s crop) at reasonable prices,
  2. free seed storage at Gower’s, and
  3. no state tax on your purchases.

We have two ways of ordering your bird seed, either online or through regular mail.

  1. Click here to order from PVAS' secure online store. This site requires a credit card.
  2. Click here to download the Birdseed Order form. This form is included in October's Valley Views.,

Orders must be received by October 15.

Remember to mark your choice of pick-up and/or free storage locations.

Free Storage Option

All you will need to pick up your order is your name.

Ranson Gower’s Stored Seed will be available for pick-up beginning Monday, November 7. All storage ends March 31 - All Ranson Gower’s Orders will be placed in storage, there will be no specific pick-up day. These changes are being made because our order has grown to where we overwhelm the parking lot and Gower’s staff when we all arrive at once. Seed not picked up before April 1 will be forfeited.

Williamsport Gower’s Pick-up November 5 (10 a.m. until Noon). All Storage ends March 31 - As in past years Williamsport Gower’s will have a Pick-up day (November 1) and Storage thru March 31. Seed not picked up before April 1 will be forfeited.

Berkeley Springs - Hunter's Hardware Warehouse (No storage). Pick-up Day November 5 - 10 a.m. until Noon.

Thank you for your support!
