It's Hometown Fourth of July and you don't want to miss it!

Join PVAS family and friends and walk with us in the Shepherdstown Fourth of July parade!

The parade begins at 11:00 a.m., but we'll gather by 10:30 on Church Street in Shepherdstown. Just look for the PVAS banner and friendly faces!

Bring your family, your dogs, your stuffed animals, your best hat, anything red, white, and blue and be a part of this fun event!  It may be a short parade, but it's a highlight of our year!

If you need directions or more information, contact Ellen Murphy (Ellen@PotomacAudubon.org)

    See you there!

    • Wednesday, July 12, 2017
    • 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
    • Wild Goose Farm, Shepherdstown WV

    When:  July 12, 2017
Time:  6:00 p.m.-dark                                                 Where: Wild Goose Farm, 2935 Shepherd Grade Road, Shepherdstown
    Cost:  $10 per vehicle

PVAS is planning a picnic and we want you and your family to come!  Put everyone in the car and head to Wild Goose Farm--it's only $10 for the carload!

Pack your own picnic dinner, throw in a blanket or chairs, and come eat on the lawn enjoying some fiddle tunes.  You'll be joined by old friends and new ones!

After you eat, your family can wander and enjoy the fun activities that will be waiting for you.  Our plans include adventures exploring the critters in the pond, family picnics and fun, art and craft activities, lively music, capturing fireflies, wandering along a StoryWalk, wet and wild lawn games, and free ice cream!

We'll be in the barn if it rains, so join us rain or shine, but please leave your pets at home.  Come and stay for an hour or the entire time.

Don't forget to bring along a refillable water bottle and insect repellant for everyone.

We hope to see you there!  Directions to Wild Goose Farm:  [It's across the road and just before the NCTC property.]  From the 4-way stop in Shepherdstown, continue north as if you were going across the Rumsey Bridge, but turn before the bridge.  Shepherd Grade begins across from the Shepherd stadium--turn left and then proceed about 5+ miles.

Reservations are not needed--just plan to come and have a great time!  For more information, contact Kristin Alexander at 304-676-3397 or Kristin@PotomacAudubon.org.
